An Open Letter To our Fantastic Clients
… we are eagerly seeking the light at the end of the tunnel!
The last few years have been amazing.
2014 uncontrolled growth
2014 was a record for totally uncontrolled growth, and it came at a price. We were not delivering at the level of quality we are known for, we grew the team far too fast to train new people in the StudioHOF way of doing business.
2015 control and making amends
In 2015 we took a long hard look at our clients and asked, “who is our real client, who can we help best”. Those, we kept, the others, we helped find other partners. We took the same look at our team. Our team was reduced by roughly half, keeping only the very best talent we had groomed. Finally, we worked like never before for those clients we thought did not get our best in 2014. 2015 was a year of making amends and ensuring our clients were being well serviced, and not short changed by our growth. A heart condition mid year and 4 subsequent hospitalizations significantly contributed to refocussing the business, and the amount of work we were prepared to take on.
2016 #2016letsgetthispartystarted
It looks like the investment in taking care of our clients has paid in spades. In January, we took on 1/3 of the total work that we took on for all of 2014, our record year. All of our new clients come as a result of referral from existing clients. We’ve learned from our past, and will not let this growth run us over, we refuse to see our quality to our clients take a hit again.
For the next 30 days, we will not be taking any new clients on. Our website will be displaying a waitlist form. We insist on delivering for our clients with excellence, and simply do not have the time to detour with new conversations with new clients and friends. So, for right now, we’re taking future waitlists, but not taking on new clients.
Keep sending folks our way, just know, they will go on a waitlist. 100% of our growth is driven by you, our clients. I am speechless in our appreciation for your trust in us and how you refer us to your friends and colleagues.
